Blog Porn

During 2011 I discoverd a love of creating which I express through my Jewellery and crafting.

I also discovered: Blog Porn.

It started quite innocently (as this type of thin often does) browsing the intenet for Mummy type blogs every so often during the week.

Then it progressed to discovering Blogging Networks, such as MumsNet Bloogers Network and BritMums.

A year later I now fawn and ponder over Blogs that feature crafting creations, hunting out ones with photo based tutorials so I may attempt to imitate.

But it’s not as simple as that.

What I can’t stop is the endless 3 second once over and then quickly clicking onto the next link whether it be a shiny new tutorial or a tempting new craft blog that I have yet to discover.

I waste hours doing this and achieve nothing! <sob!>

Someone please tell me there’s help out there….

If there’s help out there, I haven’t found it yet!

I am a blog addict. There. I said it. The blogs I waste most of my time on are ones full of pretty pictures that I can scroll down. I am easily pleased with eye candy. I don’t think I have ever read a word that is written on Decor8, but I spend hours scrolling through the images.

Here’s another one I just discovered tonight:

    http://www.littlebluedeer.com/

and if you’ve never seen it, Decor8 is lovely:

    and Chez Larsson:

Sorry, that’s probably not helping your addiction πŸ™‚

Pinterest was my downfall, it just handed me blog after blog after blog, on a plate.

I should be in bed by now, but nooo I’m googling Quilt making blogs instead, and you’ve given more to look at?!

However I’m glad I’m not the only one, yes your right – it’s the ones with pretty pictures – eye candy hahaha

I suffer that too, addicted to blog but also property porn too.

At least you can excuse yours by way of justifying it as important work related jewellery research, sadly i have no such excuse lol πŸ™‚

I suffer from blog porn, property porn and food porn. They take up far too much of my time – but they have added so much of interest to life that I just let it happen….

Yes your right they do add so much interest and learning opportunity.
Blogs are a wonderful way of peeking into the lives and minds of others.
Especially if your nosey like me!
